I had no issues with bleeding/periods. I didn't even know I had one until it showed up on scan.
Mamom-Congrats on your pregnancy. You are so lucky that your polyp is not causing problems. I guess it depends on the location.
Gill, I hope we are next.......
Thanks for the info, i'm hoping i'm just a worrier and that nothing is wrong, i guess only time will tell. Best of luck for your labour day, i hope everything runs smooth
Hi, I have a polyp in my cervix but my RE did not feel the need to remove them. Since then I got pregnant via IVF and I am now 32 weeks + pregnant with no side effects. My Ob is not concerned and is not worried about this being an issue during delivery
No he hasn't confirmed it yet, i'm still waiting on a date for when i'm having the procedure done, their taking ages. I didn't know what they were and had a look on the net about them, it sounds like me due to the bleeding between periods and the intense pain i get during ovulation and when my period is due. I'm hoping the doc doesn't find anything wrong with me but it would make more sense as to why i haven't conceived if he did find something.
Well has the Dr confirmed you def have them? It's best to have them removed.
Thanks for the info, i'm hoping theres nothing wrong but can't help wondering why it's taking so long if there wasn't a problem. I'll find out in at least 6 weeks anyway when to hospital moves there butts and gets me an appointment
Hi there, I had one prior to my first IVF. I had a polyp removed in Sept 2009. I then went on to concieve with my IVF but did result in m/c. After that is when I had to have another HSG as Dr Wanted to make sure they didn't grow back since they can cause m/c.
I know it really stinks to go thru this, but it will be woorth it in the end.
Let me know how it goes....
