I am 38 with unexplained secondary infertility.  I have a 3and a half year old beautiful daughter that was easy to conceive.  I have had 3 failed iui's and underwnd ivf w/ a 3 day transfer two grade 2 six cell embryo and 1 grade 3 6 cell embryo.  My preg test is not for 8 days and i am going out of my mind.  i am having back pain and lots of cramping but i am soooo nervous.  Any encouragement?  Anyone get preg w/ a 6 cell 3 day transfer?  Symptoms?

I can't answer your question but, I can offer my wishes for a BFP!!!!  I've been ttc for only a few months now.  AF came for her visit today and, of course, it's heartbreaking.  We all know your anguish.  I'm sending you a mega dose of baby dust!

I don't know to much about what happens in your situation but I do wish you get a BFP cause I know how frustrating it is to go through trying to have a bundle of joy so I wish you the very best of luck and a BFP!!!!

Hi, My situation is very similar to yours, I had a duaghter who is now 5, it took some time to concieve her (about a year and a half) but she was concieved without any drugs, I didn't take any kind of birth control measures since she was born, but the doctors said I too have unexplained secondary infertility, I had 4 cycles trying with clomid, 3 IUI's but no luck, I'm now on my 1st IVF my preg test is on Sept 10. I had ALOT of pain after the egg retrevail and after the ET, which was 2 days ago, I"m still in pain but maybe just a little bit less. I wonder when all this pain will go away

Thanks so much for your response.  Our situations are real similar.  are u taking progesterone injections?  How many embryos did you transfer?  What cell and what grade?  What stim medication were you on?  How many eggs did they retrieve?  I am praying for you and know how difficult the waiting is.  I want to take a store bought test.  However, i know it will not be beneficial, and truthfully i am so scared of disappontment.  My heart is with you!

I am taking progesterone suppositories, my doctor said he might shift to injections if I get a BFP. They transfered 3 embryos grade 2, 4 cells (it was a 2 day transfer). They retreived 20 eggs, then 14 got fertilized with different grades. My ET was on the 27th of Aug. When was yours? And when are you suppose to test?  Is this your first IVF? Even if you get a store test, dont test too early. I think I'll get one too, but I wont use it except the day before I go and test in the hospital.  I know its very fusterating to wait, but lets do our best.

This is my 3rd attempt to email you.  For some reason this is not posting.  Anyway, This is my first ivf and my ET was on august 22nd friday.  my preg test is on friday sept 5th.  So far i have not yet bought a store bought test.  I am trying to hold out.  If this cycle fails, i plan on doing another one with my doctor and then i will go out of state to san francisco, beverly hills, or, colorado.  I do not wish to do anymore cycles and i hope this works but i want to be prepared for the worst.  This is sooo emotional and costly.  However, i am 38 and feel as if i am on a time crunch.  What state are you in?  My prayers are truly with you.

Hi, sorry I wasn't able to reply, I was bit sick the past 2 days, but I'm feeling better now. Good luck with your test tommorow, or if you decide on doing it today at home. I really hope we do get BFP's on our current trials. by the way if (hopefully not) it dosent work out this time how soon can a person try another ivf cycle?
Let me know how things turn up with you, and just remeber that home tests are'nt so accuret especially when its a bit early to test, so if (God forbids) you get a BFN dont loose hope it just might be too earlly. My prayers are with you.

I just wanted to say good luck to you ladies! My thoughts are with you!!!! I don't have much knowledge in IVF, We actually were going to start that process, but after 5 yrs of trying and 6 failed Iui's we somehow concieved naturaly! I can offer you some SSBD, I was fortunate to have it this month, And don't test too early, mine was BFN 11dpo, BFP on 17DPO! ~ GOOD LUCK~

Hi!!  I am sooo excited but are trying to relax and not get my hopes up.  I have had continued cramping and went for my blood preg test yesterday and it was positive and a high level...435.  so i am going for another test tomorrow am to make sure it rises.  still praying 4 you.

my test was 13 days after my transfer. it was supposed to be 14 but i called my dr b/c of heavy cramping and they tested earlier (1 day).  I took my second beta level today and it was over 900.  I am now awaiting my ultrasound on September 25th.  It has been such a comfort for me to talk with you.  I have this funny feeling that you will be pregnant too.

thanks sooo much.  i am still nervous.  will be happy after my first trimester.  However, when i got my results, i felt like i won 10 lotteries.  my only hope is that many like me are just as fortunate.

I'm so happy for you, and send you my congrats from my heart, its nice to have someone to talk to that shares almost the same situation. I hope I'll get lucky too, I did start to get bad cramps and headaches the past few days, (I hope they're not PMS symptoms) but my breasts are also very sore, I'm supposed to do the blood test this Wed (the 10th of Sept) but I cant wait! I'm thinking of testing at home before, what do you think?

If i were u i wouldn't test at hm. i didn't b/c if it is negative you will be upset and it may be wrong.  do u have 1 in ure house?  See the only way i held out is by not buying one.  I know u can hold out and i have a strong feeling yours will be positive too.  are u taking progesterone support?  Tell me again how many embryos u transferred.  What state do u live in  (just curious).  I live in florida.  Keep busy- i m praying hard 4 u.
