Pregnancy Termination due to medical reasons

Hi-
I am 15.5 weeks pregnant and our amnio results came back indicating that the baby has Trisomy 13. I will need to go in for termination next week.

Has anyone gone through D&E and what shoud I expect?

Thanks for sharing your experience. I just had my D&E yesterday. It was under heavy sedation but I didn't feel, hear or don't remember anything. It went fine. I think the anxiety of doing it is worse than the actual procedure. Now, it's time to heal emotionally.

Oh my gosh...I am so, so sorry to hear that. I've never had a D&E, but have had a D&C. And although emotionally difficult, physically, it wasn't that bad after (I was under full anesthesia). Of course, I was only 8 weeks along. Take care of yourself. You'll be in my thoughts...
