I don,t have age on my side I am 38 its pretty desperate really.
My fsh was 62 back in October 08 at a time when I was experiencing a 5 month absence with my periods.  I have not had it checked since as I feel these tests just cause me more anguish anyway.
I have been told to take a months supply of hrt whenever my periods stop to restore ovarian activity and it does appear to make me ovulate so I am holding onto that small piece of hope as its all that I have.
I know that there may come a time that the hrt no longer does this for me and then there will be no hope at all.
I don,t think there are any other options really except donor egg but I can,t afford that.
I suspect that my pof is down to diminished reserve.
I will  try and stay positive but its hard at my age.

How old are you? I was 28 when I found out I have diminished ovarian reserve. I have an FSH of 10-14.5. I am happy to say that after 3 years of trying, including 2 failed IVF cycles, 2 months of clomid and 7 months of follistim with IUI's, I got pregnant on my own and now have a 6 month old baby. A total fluke! My doctor says I was just really lucky. How did they diagnose the POF? You just have to stay positive, or look at other options.... we were almost at the point of getting an egg donor. Take it one day at a time. :)
