Prolactin level very low

Hi,

I am married and we were trying to conceive for the last 2 yrs and it was not happening. When we consulted the doctor; she recommended a prolactin test and the initial result was around 80 ng/ml. She recommended "Caberlin" tab once in a week and asked us to check after a week the level. We did the prolactin test today and found that the new result is .63 ng/ml. We were surprised of having a prolactin level so low. My questions are:

1. Is such a low level ok for my wife. Will she get pregnant at such low level

2. I heard the ideal level is around 20-30 for pregnancy; does it mean that the medicines is working heavily on her

3. Are there any problems due to such a low level and how low can a prolactin be for a women who is not pregnant.

Pls reply ASAP. Thank you in advance.

Regards
Hari

I'm not really sure if there is a lower limit on prolactin. All I know is that the normal level on day 3 of a woman's cycle is below 25. What did her doctor say about the results?
