SCARED! BAD Ovary Pain CD6 No Clomid

I took 50 mg of Clomid in October and 100 mg in November, and AF came 12/23, only lasting 3 days. I am seeing an RE next month and am not taking any meds, but my right ovary REALLY hurts. Both ovaries were sore the previous two days, but today my right ovary has stabbing pains, constantly hurts in front of abdomen and lower back, and when I bent down to do laundry I could not fully stand for about 15 minutes due to the pain.

I have had this before when I have had a corpus luteum, but it seems early in my cycle for that. Could I possibly be o'ing? I have no CM. The pain is not so bad that I feel I need to go to the ER or anything, but it is bad enough that I am concerned. Any advice is much appreciated :-)

I plan to call Monday and see if I can get in for an u/s to find out what is going on. Thanks again for your sensible advice :-) It would seem weird to o this early, but with the EWCM I am confused.

One of the side effects of clomid is a possible ovarian cyst.  Go to your regular obgyn asap to check if that is the case.  My doc checked at the end of every clomid cycle for possible cysts.

I am actually getting an OPK tomorrow. I saw some EWCM, mixed in w/ a little bit of brownish (from last of AF, I guess) and then the pain subsided. My dh and I BD'd just in case.

Yes, I have had numerous ultrasounds and no cysts at all. I am still confused but not in pain anymore. I think getting the OPK tomorrow may help. Does EWCM arrive usually before, during or after O?

Could be early O'ing, or it could be something else. Did you try an ovulation predictor kit to see if you are O'ing? You might have an unresolved cyst that is still growing. That could be a problem if it ruptures (and would cause pain). You can have that checked via ultrasound. I would call the doctor and get it checked...better to be safe than sorry!
