what's wrong with me

Can someone please help me figure out what's going on with me? I'll begin within little history, 2. Years ago I had an abortion...please don't judge it was a lifelong traumatizing experience.  Last year my boyfriend and I decided to try to conceive again.  He works out of town but was around for 4 months of the summer and nothing happened.  My periods have always been the same my whole life (I am 32) and in October I had a major period with huge clots... Reminded me of hemorrhaging after the abortion and since then,  my periods have been on
time but barely bleeding, like nosebleed type blood and sometimes clear liquid type...my periods begin in time every month but how strange the bleeding is what worries me... I'm wondering if this is a sign that I'm having fertility problems. No doctors seem yo take me seriously,  but I'm not one to worry unless I feel something is wrong... Please help!

Thank you so much for replying. I have had 2 hormonal panels done and neither doctor has contacted me to tell me something is wrong. I called one doctor and asked and they said if something was wrong,  they would contact me.  when I had the abortion an iud was inserted and I was positive it fell out the next day,  I had an xray the other day to check and there was nothing there.  I did have pre cancerous cells on my cervix removed and have been going for my checkups , the doctor says that wouldn't affect anything.  Also,  my sister had thyroid cancer so I'm paranoid about that. I'm on my period now and it's the same strange blood and clear liquid... I'm freaked out.. I will try to check with the document and get an ultrasound asap.. I'm wondering also if this is an age thing now that I'm in my thirties?

Hi,
Some variation in the menstrual cycle does not always indicate a problem. The scanty bleeding during menses can be due to various reasons like sudden increase in weight, anaemia, hypothyroidism, polycystic ovaries or PCOS, hyper-prolactinemia or chronic infections etc. You will need a complete hormonal panel and an ultrasound scan to find out the problem. Consult your Doctor.
The answer is based on information provided. Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
