Stimulant expiry date question

I have unused Gonal-F from my first IVF cycle and I plan to use for this cycle and I will be starting with Gonal-F next week. The sticker on the box put by the pharmacy  says discard after August 30th 2008, but the manufacturers expiry date says Dec'2008. I talked to my doctor about this and she said I should go by the manufacturer date.

I was still wondering if the meds is good and alright to use.

Well, personally, I think it's fine! It's only september anyway, and I would imagine those expiration dates have some leeway. It's less than a month past the pharmacy date, and the manufacturer's expiration date is not until December...so I say go for it!
