Stressful

If someone could help me that would be great.  I just got my blood test results and he said that I ovulated without a doubt.  The next step would be to get a sperm sample.  My doctor said if he has a low or no sperm count the treatments for that would be about $10,000.00 a time.  I was just wondering if anyone has gone through this and if there is anything we can do besides that.  We really want to have a baby we've been trying for about a year and a half and its really starting to get stressful.

Don't stress until DH actually gets his semen analysis it could check out just fine. I think you doctor is just preparing you for the worst scenerio IVF. Yes IVF is super expensive. But they can try other things first like IUI which is much less expensive. I have had a couple of friends with husbands that have low sperm count and went on to have succussful pregnancies with IUI and injectables. Good luck.....

WHOA! Don't get excited yet wait for the s/a. My DH had a low count, but with Vitamins and a healthier life style it doubled, You are still in early stages of TTC, don't get in a hurry. It is worth every minute that you spend and every tear that you shed in the end with that BFP!  I have tried for 5 yrs, and I just now got my BFP! Always try the least expensive things first, don't throw away thousands till you get a concrete nothing else will work!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!
