Hi everyone.
My name is sharon and im new to this:)
I had a stillborn baby girl in jan 2008, it was my first pregnancy.
I gave birth to my daughter Addison Beth at 37 and a half weeks.
I have been trying to concieve for the last year.
I have not been on any contraception since my loss.
The thing is my periods have stopped coming since march this year.
I was just wondering can i concieve when im not getting periods?

I got all tests done hormone level etc, everything is normal.
I even had an pelvic ultra sound scan done, and nothin bad showed up.
I am waiting for an app from the hospital to see a gynecologost. My doc said i may be going to have that surgery where they check ur tubes , cant think of the name of it.
I just am so depressed, i keep thinking i'll be told i cant have any more kids:(

Oh Sharon...I am so, so sorry to read this.  My heart just breaks for you and I pray that the future will be much brighter for you.

I was actually reading in "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" that, in theory, a woman can conceive even if she isn't getting her period because she can start ovulating again at any point.  However, if you haven't gotten your period then, thus far, you haven't ovulated.  Are you seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist?  If not, then I would get an appointment and have all of your hormone levels checked to see if there is an imbalance...then she/he can determine the next course of action to get your cycles back on track and get you ovulating.

Did you have regular periods prior to your pregnancy?

I hope someone is able to figure things out for you!

Hugs,
FranknBeans
