Do you mind if I ask if you are doing UI because conceiving through intercourse is out of the question?
Here's why I am asking.
I also have a tipped uterus and have gotten pregnant twice (through intercourse), once by mistake and the second time within the first month of trying to conceive. I am only saying this because each doctor comments on my tipped uterus making sonograms difficult, but they have consistently told me this condition isn't supposed to cause infertility--through intercourse. I'm not suggesting that your decision is wrong for IVF: if your heart is set go for it! Best of luck! :)
Rather, *if* you're having trouble conceiving through intercourse and would like to, I'd just encourage you to have the doctor prod a little more for a better medical reason why. It would suck to pay $10K only to find out you had another underlying problem preventing pregnancy that could be easily resolved.
All the best!
I don't know the cost where you are but where I live it's anywhere from $10,000 to $12,000 for IVF.
