confused and dissapointed

Well its day 48 of cycle and i still have no af, tested this morning with clearblue and negative!!! Just dont understand this is my longest cycle ever. do u ladies think if i had ovulated later in cycle it might still be to early to test?. im making an appointment with doc today to see if there is something to regulate my periods surely thre must be something wrong in there. i have no symptoms of anything pregnancy or af, this was our last month of trying before we get married next yr i feel its going to be another yr now before we can start. why is it so hard?

Thank you Trish for your reply, well my cycles are irregular but never this long. af still hasnt arrived, im not syre when i ovulated i thought from days 16-20 because thats when i had ewcm, but that would make my luteal phase over 28 days long how can that be. i either havent ovulated at all or ovulated late and the hcg is building up

Sorry about your confusion.  Do you normally have regular cycles (meaning 24-35 days long)?  And do you have any clue about when you may have ovulated?  That's the only way to know if it's too early to test.

And I wish I knew why it was so hard. It's a shame we can't make our bodies do what we want and when we want.  TTC can be so frustrating.

I hope you find out what's going on soon.  Hopefully your apt.won't be too long from now.

Trish
