The 2 week wait after IUI

The wait seems to take forever. I had IUI almost 2 weeks ago and go in for test tomorrow. Excited, but trying not to get our hopes up. No family or friends know we are doing this, so I really have no one to talk to about it. I'm 41, so I know I'm in the advanced age group.

Test was POSITIVE!!!! Yayyy.  I'm so excited.  We did IUI and this is our first pregnancy.  Even though it was only 2 weeks ago, I feel so bloated and actually look pregnant.  Others who have done IUI-is that how you looked/felt as well?  I'm sure it's a lot because of the injections and progesterone, but funny to look so big so early.

Yes, our first try ended up in pregnancy... THANK GOD! We had two 5 day embryos transferred and both implanted. I was told that I am right at 6 weeks and I heard the heart beats this past Wednesday for the first time.
Yes, we skipped IUI totally. I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure at an early age so I do not have any eggs. We used donor eggs and my husband's sperm.

Did yours end up in a pregnancy?  So, you skipped IUI totally? If so, how'd you decide to do that right away?

You and I have a lot in common, only I chose the IVF route instead. My husband and I are both 41. We didn't tell anyone what we were doing. And the wait drove us crazy. Good luck!!!
