Thickness of endometrium

I'm doing IVF and I had an u/s a few days ago (on day 8 of Menogan - same as Puregon) and I was told that my endometrium was good at 9.  seven what, I'm not sure.  Centimetres I think.  Anyway, went for another u/s yesterday and my endometrium has thinned to 7!  My doctor said we should push the retrieval an extra day to give the endometrium a chance to thicken and that we would also do a day 3 transfer rather than day 2 also to give it a chance to thicken more.
Should I be concerned?  Has anyone else had this happen and is it a problem?
Thanks so much.

I think that the trigger along with progesterone shots will thicken your lining.  I am sure that by the time implantation comes your lining will be above 8.

I am soooo excited for you!!!!!

thanks Helen!  Appreciate the comment.  I was starting to freak out a little as this isn't something that's happened before and the more I thought about it, the more I remembered how concerned the doctor seemed.  But I think that might be all in my head!

I think they want to see lining at 8 or higher.  7 is not too thin plus you will be taking meds to thicken your lining after retrieval so I think you should be OK.
