No big follicles CD13 help!

Today is my cd13 and i went for my scan to see if i had any follicles and none had grown. I was on clomid 50mg and my last pill was last tuesday the17/3. I was told to go back on thursday and they will scan again. Im so upset! I just want to know if any1 whos been on clomid has had the same problem and is there any chance i might get some good follicles later? Was my scan today too early? Please any advice will be helpful.

Yes they can grow - think positve - visualise growing follies.

Mine weren't great at day 12 and i had to keep putting back iui but one grew to the right size so you never know.
also this is just my take but I am not  big fan of clomid - its good and cheap but i think yor body gets used to it really quickly - mine did and nothing was happening in the end that wouldn't have otherwise even when I up-ed the dosage to 150. (from 50g in the first month , then 150 last 6th month)
Injections gonal F was the one I used were much more effective and it worked first time so it might be a total coincidence or could be something there. But injections shot up the cost.
Anyway best of luck and hope all works out..

Keep hope they could still grow.  Are you PCOS??  I am not on clomid (am taking injections) and I had a similar experience this cycle.  When I went in on day 12 for u/s I had none that were dominant yet (lots of them though because of the PCOS).  My RE had me get b/w to see what my estradiol level was.  When I went again on CD 15 there were 2 that were growing ahead of the others.  Sometimes it just takes a little longer.  I am now CD19 and going in for my IUI tomorrow.  Did they do any b/w on you??  Maybe that would give them insight as to whether anything is happening.

Well it looks like we are having the same problem but I did 150mg this cycle and had my u/s on cd14 with no success and me possibly moving on to something else like shots to get me going. I had my appt on the 21st with the nurse telling me to make another appt for the 8th of april because my original RE was out of town but I'm wondering if I should have another u/s before then to see if anything has changed or does it not matter?

I didn't have any good follies until the month that I took 150mg, you may just have to wait until the next month (or the next) to see if increased clomid works. On 50mg I didn't have any growth either. It is a very low dose. Talk to your doc about upping it next month. Good luck!! :)

Sorry to hear you are sad.
CD13..How big your follies were??They grow 1-2mm/day. Sometimes, follies grow and then they stop..Dunno why...But unfortunately that happens..Can be that they grow..Stay positive!

Oh I am so sorry. I was on 100mg Clomid last month and also had no follies grow. Also had labs drawn and it showed I did not ovulate. Sometimes even with Clomid we do not ovulate. Hopefully your next scan will show some growth. If not most likely your doc will prescribe a higher dose of Clomid next cycle.
