Very Faint Positive HPT

Ok, for those of you who have seen my other posts you know that I was 100% sure I did not ovulate this month.  Well, last night I took an OPK thinking maybe I was starting a new cycle even though I did not have AF due to not ovulating, I am on CD 44.  The OPK was positive.  I was so happy.  

Then this morning for some reason I remembered another person on this site (rbohl01) say that you can get a positive OPK when you are pregnant and that is what happened to her.  So, I said what the heck, let's take a HPT, and I got a very faint second line!!!  I am so worried that since it was so faint that I am not really pregnant.  I just don't know what to think?  I am going to go guy a more sensitive test today, the one I took this morning was a strip you dip in the urine.  Should I not get my hopes up?  I don't know what to think right now.

I too had a very very faint line on my test Wednesday. I mean you could barely see it. You had to hold it just right to see it at all. So I took another one Thursday morning, Same thing. I bought a digital and BAM it says PREGNANT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I felt alot better when the digital read pregnant. Maybe you should go buy one.

if you see any second line at all no matter how faint it is then your pregnant!!!.. i tested at 10dpo and got a really faint line i could barely see it so then i test again at 13 dpo and as plain as day there was my BFP much darker!!!! congrats!!!.

Thank you all so much!  I am still in shock.  I don't get to see a doctor until August 6th and they said they don't do blood pregnancy tests, isn't that weird??

I have done the same thing! I made my dh run to the store to buy a digital when I didn't believe a very faint positive. I am happy for you and hope you have a great healthy 9 months!!

I couldn't wait, on my lunch break I bought a digital pregnancy test and it says PREGNANT!!!!  I am so happy!  I still cannot believe this is real!

Don't get your hopes up this sounds exactly like what happened to me I was 11dpo and took a pregnancy test which was super duper light, I thought that my eyes were playing tricks on me so I waited 2 days and re-tested with a digital test that way no lines could play a trick on me lol and sure enough within minutes it showed up YES! I am now currently 30 weeks and 2 days pregnant with a healthy baby boy. I would just wait a couple of days and re-test, make sure that you are using first morning urine, I hope that this helps and good luck =0)

a positive is a positive as long as the line appears during the testing period.
but if you are anything like me you won't believe it until about test #12 :)
