Waiting Game,14 days of going nuts!

Anyone else waiting take a HPT after getting an hcg shot? I had my shot 11/9 after taking my first round of Clomid. Could use a few people to bit nails with!

Plus, anyone else get VERY nauseous after hcg shot? It has been five days and I am still nauseous in waves, get a heat rush, and very tired in general. Or, could this be late effects from the Clomid I took almost 2 weeks ago?

The shot of hcg (human chronoid gonadotropin) helps the egg actually release so I will (hopefully) ovulate. I have PCOS, which I just found out this year at age 36 when the symptoms really went crazy. I just could NOT ovulate on my own.
Plus, I broke my neck in 1999 and just had it diagnosed and repaired in 2006, so my doctor understands that I don't want to have health issues any further delay starting a family.

Ive never had to get a hcg shot but when I went in for a folicule measurment on monday we found that I had allready ovulated so.... waiting for 14 days along with you to take HPT. It drives me nuts... Y did they give you a trigger shot on the first round of clomid? dont they usually wait to see what happens first?
What does the trigger shot do?
