What cycle of Clomid are you on?? any side effects?

Hello everyone I think that this form will be very helpful for all that are on Clomid or that will start Clomid soon.

Let me start by saying that I have PCOS and I have 11 year old daughter I have been TTC on and off the last 7 years but since I been married a year ago we been trying faithfully. I was on Clomid in Nov. 2009 I was taking 50mg 3-7cd I was told that I didnt O on this round and that I would need to go up on my next round. Dec came and went no AF so went in to see if I was Pergo but no I was not so they put me on provrea then Clomid on 3-7 100mg. I am now on my 3 and last round of Clomid I am on 150mg 3-7 days and I hope that this time I O because on my last round they told me I O early on cd 15 I have never O in 11 years so that was a good thing. But doc said that the numbers where not where he wanted them to be at so that is why he up my clomid this time.
As for side effects on 50mg I had mood swings and hot flashes and the wonderful headaches... On 100mg I thank god I did not have any but did have crazy dreams with them. And with 150mg I had the vision problems. I just hope that this time works.
Would love to hear your stories on Clomid and hear how long before you got your BFP on Clomid...

camdy: hmmm... I agree with carlis, could definitely be implantation. You're a little early for AF aren't you? crossing my fingers...

sherry: I'm not sure the days make too much difference, but I'd stick with what you've already done. Part of this is trying to get your body into a consistent rhythm, I say, the least amount of changing and tweaking, is best.

all: My headaches left (so that was just for the first three days) and no other side effects from this round of clomid. I took my last pill last night. REALLY hoping this is my cycle, but as for now, I can feel my hormones are pretty much at bay. I don't have that CRAZY BABY fever I get mid-month last month. It really must coincide with O... amazing, if you think about it. Hope everyone is having a nice long weekend!! SSBD to all!

WEll today is cd 3 not sure if I wanna continue doing cd 3 -7 or maybe try cd 5-9 this round.  This will be my 3rd round of clomid .  gonna be hard as my hubby is now starting a new job this week 7 pm - 7 am so i will only see him on fri and sat, sun  morning.  how the heck am i gonna pull this one off!!!!

Sorry to hear you are spotting. But aren't you like 8 or 9 dpo?  If so that could be implantation bleeding.  Which would be great. So hopefully it's that :)

as for me this is my week to bd. The cm is starting which it's right on schedule to last month :). I really hope this is my month:). Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your holiday weekend!!

I'm cramping really bad and started spotting this morning :(  I guess this cycle is a bust :(

So I went back to the dr this morning after my 3 days of hormone shots. He said the follicles had grown to 15, but still needed to be at 20. So he said I need 2 more days of shots. So another shot tonight and tomm nite. Then he gave me scrip for the HGC shot to take on Sunday. He said I should be ovulating Monday- Tuesday. So I needed to get busy. LOL  He said if I havnt had a period in the next 2 weeks to take a prego test. And of course if I start my AF then this round was a BFNNNNN!  Oh how I am hoping for something good this month!!!!

Sherry- So sorry to hear about AF!! UGH. So thought this was gonna be your month, Already praying for ya for next month.
