Saliva toxic to sperm?

Hi, I've heard that saliva is toxic to sperm, but I am wondering if it's toxic through oral sex. My husband and I typically start our love making sessions with foreplay, especially for me because I don't often reach climax without it. So I was just wondering, if he gives me oral sex, is the saliva he uses going to be toxic when we finally reach the love making? How toxic is saliva to sperm? Thanks

Saliva is not really toxic in the sense that it is not a spermicide.  By the time you move onto intercourse the saliva will be mostly gone.  The vaginal environment is hard on sperm but they are hearty and only one needs to make it through, I don't think oral sex is going to be enough to limit your chances of conception.

It is toxic to sperm at least from what I have read online. When we were TTC we did not have oral sex until after my fertile phase was over just to be sure. However, I'm sure plenty of women have gotten pregnant with oral sex before intercourse because if saliva were toxic enough to prevent pregnancy every time then oral sex would be a form of contraception lol
