FET - what does it involve?

I have had 2 fresh cycles of IVF with one pg that ended in mc at 12 weeks and am ready to get on the ivf bandwagon again.  We have 2 frozen embies waiting for us which is exciting to not have to go through the fresh drama again quite yet but I have just discovered that I have to start taking quite high doses of oestrogen when I get my af to build my uterus up.

Can anyone help me with what else is involved in a FET - I imagined that it would be a drug free round since I've done all the drugs in my fresh round.  Any help at all would be much appreciated!

thanks!  no one has given me answers so this is much appreciated.  Did you find it a lot easier on your body than the stim cycle?  I have estrogen tablets to take and then will have progesterone pessaries for the last part of it but didn't know how long the whole process would take .. we had a break after our mc in june so are now itching to get back in the game.

How did the estrogen make you feel?  Good luck for a BFP honey .. I will have my fingers and toes crossed on the 7th.  was yours a 3 or 5 day embie that you had transferred?  thanks again!

HI there, I just completed my FET. I am in my 2ww now. It consisted of taking actos plus, estrogen, progestrone, prenatal vita, a baby asprin, and vida patches every other day.  I am still taking all of those meds until my positive result on Oct 7th. It still takes about a month for the full cycle I started 9/9 and I test 10/7. I had my ET yesterday 9/27/10.
