When do you start the progesterone supp.???

I thought my doc said to start the progesterone supp. 3 days after a pos. opk at night.  SO i got a pos. opk tuesday night and so i was planning on taking the first supp. friday night.

I am also on metformin 1700mg a day and did clomid day 3-7.

What do others do out there? 3 days after opk or the day after a pos. opk or??

THanks ladies!

ok so i started the supp.  i woke up at 445am b/c my daughter woke up so when i put her back down i popped in the supp. and when i got up for good around 6:30 i had "discharge" some yellow like the tabs and then whitish for about the next 4 hrs. not a lot but noticeable to me. i also had cramping for a little while in the morning.  is this normal?
do you ladies put the supp. in and lay down for a while or just go about your day? i've heard of doing it both ways. whats right?   could the cramping be implantatin? i'm 4dpo and i'm not even sure when implantatin really happens? thanks ladies!

My RE told me 2-3 days after IUI.

I had trigger shot the day before IUI, so I can't really use OPKs.
So I w-checked with BBT that I can see to have the temperature shifting changed post IUI.

3 days sounds fine. You don't want to start too early, because you don't want the progesterone to interfere with ovulation. Plus, a possible embryo will not attach until later anyway. Best of luck!!!

When I was seeing an RE, they had me start it the day after an iui, so I would wait at least 2 days after a +opk, assuming that you ovulate the day after a + opk.
