CD11 got a positive OPK.....so confused!!

I am on Clomid CD5-9 and I read on here to start taking a OPK from cd 9 on. I am CD 11 and took one today for ***ts and giggles and its POSITIVE! I am soo confused. I usually have O pain around cd 14. Could it be right? Isnt it early. I know Clomid changes your cycle some and it did make my cycle long last month (32 days). Last month I had my u/s to check for follies on cd13 and I had two of them sizes 20 and 22mms. This month the nurse wants me to come on cd 15 and I am confused on that too because I am afraid my follies will be too old for the trigger, and now if I am Oing this early wont that change things? I am going to go get one of those smiley face OPK so I know for sure......UGH SOOO CONFUSING!! Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated...!!!!

Me and DH are just going to BD until it falls off.....LOL! I will have my u/s on CD15 like they said and I guess I will find out then if it is too late to trigger.

Hey there!   That's great that you got a positive OPK!!  This way you won't have to wait as long.  I'd call the nurse as soon as possible to see about coming in for an u/s tomorrow.  In the mean time, I'd BD tonight.  Tomorrow they will be able to see if the follicle has ruptured (i.e. if you have ovulated).  If not..maybe they will have you trigger tomorrow or maybe that won't be necessary since you have the positive opk.

Maybe take another one tomorrow morning just to see!

Thanks texasangel...why would the nurse have me do my u/s later then last month if my follicles were that size at cd13? Is it because my cycle was so long?

You're right that clomid can screw up your cycle.  If last month you had a 20 and 22 at CD 13 that probably means they were 18 and 20 at CD 10.  You a probably getting the beginning of your surge and I would call your doc ASAP and see if you can get in.

Good luck.
