Silpa: I'm glad you're having the test done again. Maybe it was just a random high fluctuation this month. You're only 25, so I wouldn't think you have a diminished reserve at this age. Best of luck!
My RE called me and said he would like to re do the test next cycle. He was telling, it is very unlikely to have ovarian reserve coming to an end at this early age. He was telling they usually fluctate it seems. Have to wait for another cycle. Till now this is the only abnormal result we have. Still waiting for chrmosomal analysis tests.

Sil: I think the fact that you got pregnant earlier this year is a good sign. What did your RE say about the number?
I am so worried because my FSH was 15 on day 3 and I am still 25. No cysts or anything. Even HSG test turned out good. Is there a chance that my ovarian reserve ending ??? I had a miscarriage in march 2008 in 8th week. Pathology report says the pregnancy is a triploid.
My RE does the test on either day 2 or 3, so I wouldn't think it makes a difference. And I agree with the others...8 is a good number :-)
It was day 3 FSH. I don't think 1 day can make a large difference.
My RE likes to get the bloodwork on cd2-5. So, I do not believe it would be a big difference. 8 is a good #. 10 and above is considered elevated.
I think day 2 or 3 are the same thing.
Relax 8 is a good number!
Hi Helen72,
Did you have a 7.5 on day 2 or day 3? Congrats on your BFP!!!!
I think that 8 is a good FSH. Mine is 7.5 and it miraculously worked out for me. I think that FSH below 10 is a good sign.
I am so sorry about your cysts and endless waiting. (hug)
