bad smelling Periods indicates of early miscarriage?

Hi all,
I had my 1st iui during my last cycle,,i did not hope for positive test or even i was not tempeted to go for HPT`s,,,
But i had cramps form 7dpiui and vomitted form 11dpiui-15dpiui,,i got my AF on cd29,,earlier!
But strange thing was that, my bleed was very bad smelling and i had unbearable pain continuosly for 3 hrs,,from the cd2 morning 10-1.30pm,,,i got my af the previous night at 9,,then i went to sleep,,,
As some of my friends and my mom very well know about my treatments and these vomitting,,said it is an eally miscarriage,,as it even had bad smell,,which is starange for me!
Do u agree with the thought of my friends?
As iam going on 2iui this cycle,,hope ur suggestions helps me a lot!

With my m/c's I had an odor, although not unpleasant, just strong - it reminded me of the smell of the discharge after having given birth.

yes sri i remember u sharing here that u had a yeast infection too!!!! the bad odor can be an indication of an increased infection..ideally a suggestion: if u are getting into a 2ndiui better see to it that whether u have an infection or not..no point in wasting time, energy and money if u are infected...

I agree with Tina...a bad odor could indicate some type of infection. I definitely think it would be a good idea to talk to your doctor about it.

It sounds more like a possible infection than a m/c, especially if there was an odor.  Have you talked to your dr about it? Even if it were a chemical pg(very early mc), unpleasant odors are not a typical sign.
