IUI on 7/17/09 2WW feels like an eternity

Hello all, I am new to this site but have been reading through the everyones comments. I am 34 and my husband and I have been trying to conceive our second child for 18 months. We had and IUI on Friday 7/17. I did 5 days of clomid (50mg) and a HCG trigger shot about 28 hours prior to IUI. Anyone else waiting for the longest two weeks ever to be up?

I'm new to it also but I would think they would want to do b/w to check your progesterone levels and to make sure you ovulated, especially after an IUI because if it doesn't work this time around then they would know what to do next cycle.  It wouldn't hurt to call them and find out why they aren't doing b/w.

I hope you get your BFP. I'll keep my finger crossed for you. My doctor isnt checking anything after the IUI. He just wants me to wait my tow weeks and then take a HPT. Does that sound right to you? I am really new to all of this..

I had my IUI on the 16th so I'm in the loooooong 2ww myself.  It's always the longest part of the cycle, IMHO.  My doctor said I should have ovulated Thursday night so that puts me at 3DPO.  I go Wednesday for b/w to see how well I ovulated.  I'm secretly hoping, even though it will only be 7DPO, that they will confirm a BFP.  I really doubt it though.  Good luck to you!
