STRANGE TURN AROUND

I am 8 weeks pregnant, at 7 weeks on 10/29 my Re told me that this is not a viable pregnancy and to stop my meds. and that I should start to bleed. I went to see me RE for a consult on 11/6 to see what to do next. I told her I did not miscarry yet so she went over the next step we would take starting Dec. cycle. She then took me into the sono room to take a look at what was going on. She said everything is fine ( she saw ges. sac,ys, fetal pole and HB)  with this pregnancy except we are only showing you to be 6w1d. I went through IVF so I really was 8w1d.

Has anyone ever gone through this before?

I almost started taking meds to terminate this pregnancy (as per my RE) or possibly going for a D&C.

I hope what happened to me does't happen to anyone else.

I takes so much time and effort and then to go on an emotional roller coaster.

On 10/29 she only saw a ges sack and wasn't sure if she saw a ys so she told me that the pregnancy wasn't viable(all of my #'s were good). I have been waiting to miscarry (but thank god i'm not).

I have seen people posting that at 6 weeks the Re didn't see everything they wanted and these women had D&C's What if they were just a few weeks behind......

I hope everything works out for me now I am waiting for a call on my #'s from yesterday.

Wow, that is crazy.  I'm glad she found something and glad that you didn't take the meds.  What made the RE think that the pregnancy wasn't viable?  With these situations, you just have to wait it out.  Don't worry about the u/s being off a little.  You never know what the next one will say.  I hope you have a little baby coming your way soon!
