Clomid Question about ovulation

Hi Ladies. I began taking clomid on CD5. I am on CD9. I have had A LOT of CM since I began taking clomid. Today I noticed A LOT of stretchy CM. Could I really be ovulating this early, or is it just in preperation? I know that clomid can cause false postives on OPKs so it is best to wait until CD 12 to test... but how will I know if I am on CD9? I took my last clomid today. I am also taking 100mg. TIA!!

Clomid does not affect OPK.  I'm also on clomid (3-7) and I have been using OPK to track my natural surge.  The only time it will affect OPK is if you take the trigger shot to jump start ovulation. Are you also doing IUI?
The CM you describe usually signals that ovulation is near and that you are in your fertile period.  The last day of this CM is supposed to be your Peak day.  If I were you I would BD everyday you have this CM present.
Hope this helps and goodluck:)

I am not sure what alot of your short hand means, however I would like to know if you have PCOS (polycistic ovary syndrom). If you do I would not recommend taking Clomid, I too have PCOS and was giving clomid by my gyno in an attempt to become pregnant, however after going to an RE, he informed me that Clomid can actually make you develop cysts, but i'm not sure how it will affect you if you don't have PCOS.

I do know that a strechy clear discharge is normal to have two days before you are ready to concieve.

sorry I could not be more helpful
