Hi thank you for your reply..we have been referred to an infertility clinic but are waiting for an appointment. I was just wonderning if it looked good as he has good progressive motility and antibodies are comming down after 1 mth on fertilaid for men. I thought it was a good sign when his mobility was good:( What is your opinion on it?
Hello,
Antisperm antibodies can be present in both women and men. They usually may develop after a severe infection, injury or surgery. In women, the body could experience an allergic reaction to semen. Antisperm antibodies tend to latch on to healthy sperm and affect them. They lower sperm motility and also causes sperms to clump together and moving in slow circular motion instead of swimming forth. Antisperm antibodies treatment includes corticosteroids, in vitro fertilization treatment and insemination along with therapy. Semen analysis appears to be ok and you should consult your infertility expert for more queries and concerns. Hope it helps.
Best wishes and regards!
