Well, yesterday was my follow up on a followup from a follow up regarding my ectopic pregnancy/methotrexate treatment. My beta hcg's are going down, as hoping (I guess), hemoglobbin back up to where they should be, so in theory I am following what is considered to be normal; had an ultrasound yesterday as well, lucky me, they had a student perform it that has never done a case like me. Needless to say, don't let an inexperienced student work on a person with a growing mass in her left tube. I may be sounding critical, but man alive, I am shocked that I didn't rupture! It flipping hurt! At least I scheduled one for today with an experienced one, guess we'll see what the numbers look like between the two. As for my situation, according to my specialist, I have a high percentage of another ectopic if and when this one is resloved. All I know is that the mass grew by a small margin, maybe 2mm this week. Looks like it is slowing down (?). He mentioned on performing an hsg test after as well, to see exactly what is blocking my tube, but last Sept when I had it done, it looked clear and open, so who knows wtf is going on. If there is a blockage (apparently there is, or I wouldn't be going thru this right now), then IVF is the way to go. He told me to get as much information on this, from start to finish, etc. AS for my other symptoms, well, still cramping on the left, not enough to make me tear up or faint, but they are definitley there. I am not quite as nauseated and my trots have quit trotting. Still bleeding though, but at least there is no free fluid in the abdomen. :)
