I am new to the group and not familier with the acronyms used so please bear with me. I am on my second round of IUI and I was wondering does the percentage of success go down after each cycle?

Hey!!!  We are close to end of our two week wait of our 2nd iui. My RE only allows you 3 iuis. He says that after 3 iuis the sucess rate drops alot.  So if we have to do another and our 3rd doesn't work either my RE says we are back to square 1 and will explore other options. But every RE (doc) is different so I guess it just depends on them. Good Luck.

I know several women here that had success on their 4th and 5th IUI's. I hope it doesn't take that long for you. But, I know some of them, it did take a few tries.  Good Luck :)

i am doing my very first IUI on thursday i do my triiger (ovidril ) shot tomorrow after doing GONAL @ 150 for 4 days and 112. 5 for 3 days and 75 for one  and today i skipped a dosage the dr wants me off i responded to gonal real good unfortunatly too good they had to cut me back..and now just wait to see where i stand tomorrow.. if everything goes well i get my trigger and procede with the procedure.. i hope you ladies  get YOUR BIG FAT POSITIVE ......BUG hugs and we will see eachother in our TWW

they say each cycle is a new cycle and the numbers decrease after 6 cycles.. good luck were r u in the second iui.. i'm doing my second iui too i'm on cd4 cycle day 4
