first time opk user

This is my first cycle using opks. I took one yesterday and the line looked as dark as the control line. I took one today just to make sure it wasn't in my head. Todays was noticeably positive.  My question is should I expect ovulation today or tomorrow? I'm having weird cramps today that feel kind of like af cramps. But it might also be in my head. Thanks for the response!

Thanks for the response! I am pretty sure I ovulated the day of the cramping. I stopped testing that day so I wouldnt confuse myself more than I already have. Later that night I noticed my CM changed back to the thick sticky stuff and yesterday my cervix went back to low amd firm. So I guess I start the waiting game!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
One should test at the same time each day to optimize test results. Few women may experience 2 and more rarely 3 days of an lh surge. This may happen since these tests detect the LH Surge while it is rising and then decreasing. For more queries it is suggested to get a clinical examination done and consult your gynecologist. Keep me posted.
Best luck and regards!
