Pelvic and Ovary Pain - HELP!

Hello ladies,

I know I've asked this question before but does anyone have Adenomyosis?  I was told that these cramps I have are from that.  They start immediately after "O" time and last almost the whole luteal phase.  I thought Adenomyosis was just in the uterus.  My cramps are all across my whole pelvic area and it feels like tight pulling and my pelvis feels heavy, not menstrual-like.  I don't have a heavy AF, it's rather light but I do have back pain with the cramps.  These cramps are not there during AF as they say Adenomyosis causes.  I have regular cramps during AF.

Also, this whole cycle I had dull pains in my ovary area right over my hip that started since Oing from my last cycle, mainly the left and I was told I have a very tiny cyst which shouldn't be causing problems.  I know this is a laundry list of stuff but I also have a tilted uterus and a 3.5cm fibroid and my gyn blames all my previous "feeling pregnant" symptoms on the fibroid. Actually I thought I had an ectopic.

How would Adenomyosis or a fibroid make the pain in my ovaries?  Also, if anyone has Adenomyosis, what are your symptoms? Does a small cyst cause pain?

Thanks in advance!

I know this is an old post but you may also have endo, even mild endo can cause pelvic pain and since I have had it removed around my ovary, I get ovulation pains  that vary from mild to moderate. I have had two laproscopys and I also have two small fibroids that are not pressing against the uterine cavity so I have been told by a couple of specialists that they're not a big deal. The 'tugging" or 'pulling' sensation can be endo also, and I had it shortly after my last lap and my fertility dr explained what causes the tugging sensation and its not always serious. I do not know much about adenomyosis.. my fertility dr said I may have a small case of it as most older women do but I would think that would bother you month-round, not just during ovulation. Have you gotten a second opinion on this? And have you carried any pregnancies? I am just curious.

I have the same thing but I am much worse. Had a D&C got a little better, and now I feel the way you are describing. Now they say I need a hysterectomy.

The symptoms you are discribing sounds exactly like what I have been feeling.  I feel like I never recover from my period and the pain just goes on and on.  After ovulation it seems to go into the hip and back area and is so uncomfortable.  Maybe I should ask a doctor about it.  I always thought something was pinched causing it, but after charting, I found it was always the same time.  HUH!  You have enlightened me.  Keep me posted on what you find out.  I am curious.
