oral sex and ttc

Okay girls...tonight is my night...but I've heard some rumors that when you ttc you should not let your husband perfrom oral sex on you b/c the saliva kills the sperm...true or false??

My dh doesn't mind doing it after he orgasms! Isn't he great! LOL  Well, I got pregnant, and I'm pretty sure I know when it happened and that night he did do oral after he o'd and now I'm pregnant..maybe it really helped!

I don't think sperm would hurt if it's around the vagina.  The penis will be inside the vagina when ejaculating so I think the saliva shouldn't harm them as much.

Actually I think it's true.  My nurse did told me don't do oral sex either parter because your spit can kill sperms.  to be safe. No oral when making baby. :-)

see that's the thing "the o factor" hate to be graphic but oral sex helps...so...that's why I was debating...

Hey girls!  Ok, I have heard that oral sex is not a good idea because of saliva. But it is good though to have your dh perform oral sex after he ejaculates..your orgasm will actually help the spermies to get to where they're going! Give it a try!

My Gyn. said to use saliva if you need a little extra "support" down there so I would not imagine that it is too harmful....

I've never researched it. Only rumors here about saliva being unfriendly to sperm. But, if you think about it, is he really going to put that much saliva, that far up to kill that many spermies?? I think you are fine :)
