home pregnancy test after ivf possibly correct?

I did egg retrieval on 6/10.  ovidrel(hcg)shot on 6/8.  blastocyst transfer on 6/15.  i know they tell you not to take a home test, but i couldn't help myself.  I thought maybe if i took one every couple of days, the results might be more accurate.  i took a test 6/18 was negative.  today 6/21  tested positive.  Is it even possible?

Hi happy new year!!!

Is anyone interested in buying meds for IVF? I have a lot of left over and I am selling them for a reasonable price.

I had 2 IVF's and all were not successful. Occurred bleeding which causes miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.

To all who are trying, may God be with you on this time and give you strength and hope.

And to all who are pregnant. Yay, congratulation!!! Truly, i am happy for you :)

Hi Tiff

Have you decided to have your hysterectomy yet?  I also have severe endometriosis.  My OBGYN didn't tell me what level it was, just that it was severe.  I have 2 endometrioma's on each of my ovaries.  I also thought I had cancer.  My OBGYN performed laproscopic surgery, because he was going to remove the endometrioma on my left ovary because it was too big and could rupture.  When he went in, he found I had severe endometriosis. He didnt remove the tumor because he knew I wanted to have children and he would not be able to just remove the tumor but would have to removed both ovaries.  So he just took off the scar tissue off of my bowel because it was severley stuck together with my other organs.  I then went to see an IVF RE.  She told me I had to go see an oncologist because they are the ones who deal w/ patients who have severe endometriosis.  The oncologist told me if there was no way he could go in and remove or drain the tumors.  He said I need a complete hysterectomy and need to think about doing it w/in the next couple of years because of the high chances I will get ovarian cancer :(  I have tried ivf twice with negative results.  I am thinking about egg donation because I desperately want to have a baby of my own.  Any advice or input you could give me would be greatly appreciated.  You are the 1st person I have heard that is trying to get pregnant who has endometriosis.
