Hi everyone!

I just joined the site. I am 25 and my husband and I have been TTC - I think that is the right acronym :) - for 3 months. I found this site after searching for information on B6. I have been keeping track of my temps at home and can't wait to enter all of my stuff online. How nice to have an online tracker! I think I might have a short LP, so we'll see what happens.

Anyway, I am excited to meet you all and figure this fertility thing out. Isn't it amazing how we spend so much time trying to prevent pregnancy, only to realize how hard it can be to actually conceive?!

My age was a factor when we did the first trial of IUI to get our daughter (dd).  I was 35 and after a year of nothing, we went to the RE.  Now, since I am 37 and have a known fertility issue, we are going back after 6 months of ttc.

Ironic isn't it- all the time you try not to and then it becomes your fondest wish!!!!  I guess we will just appreciate it more when it happens!

I don't know much about this fertility stuff, but is IUI something you start after you've been trying for awhile with no success? That is where they actually place the sperm where it needs to be right?

I am getting a bit frustrated after 3 months (I know- I need to relax!) but I am thinking if nothing happens by 6 months then I will make a doc appt for initial testing.

I found this site a few years ago when we were ttc for our first baby.  I loved this site and I still am here. We are currently ttc for #2.  I start the IUI process just as soon as af shows up this month which should be any day now.
