Egg Donation?

I am wondering for those mommas that are having a difficult time becoming pregnant; would egg donation be a consideration?  I ask because I have a friend that has done it a few times and I have been considering donating mine as well.
I am 28, healthy and have 3 beautiful children of my own. I would absolutely love to be a part of helping a family grow. I just wonder how realistic the need/want would be.?

I definitely don't want the mother to have to pay soo much. Of course, if they were willing to compensate, I wouldn't deny it. I'm a stay at home mom so any extra is welcome. Lol! But at the same time, to have to pay sooo much to go through an agency I feel is unfair for those mommas to be.

You are right!   They do charge a large fee..
But, you are also compensated for your time nicely too.  Are you not wanting the comensation and just looking to donate out of the goodness of your heart??  I had a friend that donated for me, and although it didn't work, I will be forever grateful for her gesture

I am unsure if where to even start. I know that you can go through an egg donation center but I think they charge the mom's pretty high fees. From what I understand, it's sort of like an adoption agency. They charge for the agency matching fee AND the donor.?

I know that there is a tremendous need and want for many women because they are unable to use their own eggs.
