increasing meds
Went to re this morning 3rd day of bravelle/menopur , said he was going to increase meds, what is the most anyone has been on? 375iu of bravelle, 75iu menopur, does this also mean my body is not responding well?
Well I have only been on Menopur 150iu a day, but I have heard of much higher doses of FSH (Bravelle, Gonal-F, etc) being given, especially for IVF. I do not know what you are doing... IUI, IVF, etc. I am supposed to be doing 750iu a day of Gonal-F here soon for my IVF and I am thinking, whoa Nelly. I am not familiar with anyone doing more than 750iu a day unless your ovaries are practically non-functioning and the chances of over-stimulation are low. If youre going to be on 375iu of Bravelle a day and 75iu of Menopur, that is not an extremely high amount but your RE should have explained to you that youre probably not responding well enough on the current dose you were on.
