I saw your post about how your IVF didnt work and want to tell you I'm sorry. I also read that you had 3 m/c's. Did you resort to IVF after that? Have you been able to get pregnant on your on easily?
You said the eggs were genetically tested, does that mean you did PGD. So 8/10 of your eggs were bad?
I'm 41 and in similar boat. I've been pregnant 4 times since october. I haven't carried any beyond 8 wks. Two where chemical pregnancies. I'm told that because of my age chance of m/c is higher 40%, but I would think with more numbers the chance for a good one goes up? I had the lab work for multiple miscarriages and was diagnosed with high anticardiolipid antibodies which may be my problem, but I doubt it as I didn't have issues with it with my pregnancy in 1995 and I was told then I had high anticardiolipid antibodies, but absolutely nothing was done and baby was fine.
Anyways, I just wanted to say "Hi." I haven'really been on line for a few days. I've been pretty bummed out since my last m/c in May. I started losing it on about Mother's Day, isn't that a kick in the ass!?

I am so sorry for your losses..... I just feel unbelievably sad today. Like delayed mourning since my first IVF failed last week...I have tried to be SO positive and determined but today my hopes feel so deflated... RE said they did all the proper testing on me... I asked many good questions and he had many good answers but is he missing something?! I can GET pregnant, I just can't KEEP the pregnancy... So in MY mind, WHY? There has GOT to be a reason other than my eggs are old! He said those MC's were a result of OLD EGGS (chromosome defects)...On my 3rd MC they did a D&C and tested the tissue and it had missing and extra chromosomes.. Rright now I HATE that word! OLD! Whatever, I am doing all I can do which is why this is so frustrating!! My sister in law sent me HOLY WATER even and I must have splashed that on my tummy 20x a day and prayed! LOL but really..... I have a TON of people from here to FL praying for me.. I simply have NO other options other than what we are doing!!!! We are going to try IVF again, another 20K we don't have.... and the money would never bother us at all IF WE HAD A BFP!!!! But when you gamble with that kind of money that you saved a long time for, it sure is scary!!! I promise to stop whining but just let me have the rest of today to do so.... : (
