iui

Hi ladies :-)  iv'e just had my 5th iui on mon 26.01.09 everything went well but i am concerned about the cramps i am having they started from the 1st day about 5 hours after iui which i was also feeling a bit sickly.Im still having them now which is 6dpiui but they keep changing from AF cramps to sharp (stabbing) pains which occur mostly on the left hand side.I do have cramps around ovulation and a few days before AF.Each and every one of my iui's have been different so there is just no way of telling what it all means!! Im due to test around the 9th feb.

Hi there, well i never called my doctor but on mon evening i had very bad cramps as tho af was defo coming through the night and early tues moning i was still the same,i decided to go for a walk tues afternoon and felt a lot better, since then the cramps have got better from the feeling of them being very low down.Well today is thursday and the only thing i can eally feel is more like sharp (ish pains) which keep changin from side to side with the left being worse but not so it is really bothering me.When i bend over i can struggle a bit more. All my other iui's i have had result in my period coming 12 days later so this time af should be due sat, if not i am due to test on mon 9/02/09(which is funnily enough my dads birthday!!) i haven't got sore boobs just the nipples feel a bit sore which agin is quite strange for me this close to my af!!.........any ideas??......B

I would also take Tanker's advice and call the RE.  With my iui's I normally have cramping the first day and then the pain i feel for about 1 more day is my actual ovulation, as i have pain during that time each month...To still have pain 6dpiui could mean something-u never know, it may be implantation cramping going on or overstimpulation of the ovaries...keep us posted on your progress.  good luck to you...

Could your ovaries have been over stimulated?  You should not be experiencing much if any pain. I would call your dr tomorrow.
