first time IUI

so im 33 and last thursday i had my first IUI treatment, after taking ovulation pills for 5 days.
i feel so tired, bloated, boobs are sore and feel stressed.
my ovaries have been giving me funny little pains and my tummy feels weird
my period is due in 11 days,
if i buy a pregnancy test will it work?

I had iui last Thursday,this is my 5th so hopefully the last, I have had clomid for 5days this time,I must say treatment was sorer than usual!
I have had sore boobs,tummy ache,very tired and been feeling sick. I can test on Thursday. Wish me luck

I had my first  IUI on aug 11. I'm also 33 and did 5 days of femara :) I am able to test this Wednesday. I have all of the same symptoms as you... Bb's are hurting a lot! I spotted yesterday but not today. Not sure what is going on. I hope that AF isn't starting but if so... I'm starting all over again next month. Keep me posted!!

finally someone responded to my post!
im here living in the middle east with my husband.
All my friends here except 3 , the rest all have new babies.
luckily all the treatment is covered by my husbands company.
please keep your fingers crossed for me!

Hi!  I just want to tell you I had 3 IUI in the past year.  Just the third was succesful.  I felt the same as you... tired, bloated,my boobs sensitive with little pain, I felt all this after the second day of IUI, two weeks later I found out:  I was pregnant...so, maybe you are too.  
Good luck!  But, be aware of an inusual pain and go to the Dr.... , I just want you to be ok....

Did you take a trigger shot? If so, it's definitely too early to test as the HCG from the injection may still be in your system.

no its so early to do the pregnancy test because i did the same and tested 10 days before my expected period day and the result were a false pregnant so be patient and i know that is so difecult but try to wait more that the test will be more accurate .
