Stopped Sprintec 28.......

I stopped taking Sprintec 28 at the starting of the 3rd weeks blue pills. The day after i stopped the pill i started seeing a brownish/redish discharge. The next day i started bleeding like my period had started. This lasted for 5-6 days. Was this my normal period or withdrawl bleeding? I mainly stopped taking the pill because my husband and i noticed signs of possibly being pregnant an also we want to have another child.....help.

Thank you so much for replying! I almost thought i was going to start my period because on the 7th i started getting menstrual like cramping accompanied by a migraine that lasted for 2 days but still nothing. Also ive noticed more discharge then normal. But its clear. I am most deffinatly going to take your advice and seek out an gynecologist. I will keep you posted! Thanks again!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
It may be difficult to determine whether this bleeding is your normal period or withdrawal bleeding without a complete history and clinical examination. All you can do is consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. A clinical examination and blood HCG level determination may be helpful in determining whether you are pregnant or not. Do write to me again on how you are doing.
Best luck and regards!
