miscarriage

My husband and I have been trying for 15 years to have a baby.  After going to many infertility doctors and many procedures about 8 years ago we had enough and decided to stop.  7 weeks ago we found out we were pregnant. We were very very happy.  One week ago we had an ultrasound and the heart beat was very strong.  At that time we were told - chances of a miscarriage were low due to the strong heartbeat.  One week later, we found out we lost the baby with a miscarriage.  Then I was told I was getting a Rhogram injection.  I am 42 years old and my husband is 45.  I have been told not to worry that because we got pregnant, we should be able to get pregnant very quick this time.  Can anyone tell me about the Rhogam injection - we can't get any info from the doctor at this point.
