miscarrying one twin?

I was 11 weeks pregnant and last Saturday October 11, I had a complete miscarriage. the placenta with fetus came out in tact. Now 5 days later I still feel really pregnant and feel flutters or movements, I have an appointment this next week to see what is going on, did a home pregnancy test which came up positive today but not sure if I trust it. Has anyone had a similar thing happen to them? Just looking for answers and trying to not think I am losing my mind.

thanks

Yesterday I was at work and my stomach was hurting like I needed to use the restroom. I have had no early on syptoms spotting etc... I got up from a meeting as soon as I closed the door to the meeting in the hallway I felt a something come out and I was wet. First thought I had a bowel movement on my self since my stomach has been hurting me. Second thought I just miscarried my baby. (I have had two other miscarriages before). Luckly no one was in the hallway I got to the bathroom as soon as I could. Pulled my pants down and the mass clot feel in my hands blood was every where and would not stop. Then the cramping started. I called for help and they had the ambulance come and get me by now I am still bleeding and cramping is increaseing. I was sure I have miscarried my baby. Got to the hospital they ran blood test and took me for ultrasound. So when the doctor came in to tell me the news he says I have good news. In my head I am thinking he is going to say I passed everything and I do not need a DNC. Well come to my surprise he said you did not miscarry baby is 6 weeks and 6 days and great pulse doing everything a baby would this far along. He can not explain to me what happen. He said I need to follow up with my OB and see if they can figure it out.
I am thinking I had twins and miscarried one and still have the other. There is still a huge chance I can loose this one but I am on bed rest. I really want my baby but I know the chances. I already have two great little girls. So i am blessed I would love to add a new addition. I guess we will see when I go to the OB on Wed.

Well i no that after a m/c, a hpt can be positive for as long as you have a level of 25(of the hcg hormone) in your body. It took a little over 4 weeks after my m/c for my levels to go to 5. After a m/c your hormones are all over the place and can still make you think you are preggo.

Now as far as having a complete m/c and still having flutters i cant answer that one, i was 10 weeks and didnt feel any movement at that time. I no women who had twins and one died but disengrated within the body.  But good thing you are going to the dr. you no how your body feels and getting it checked out is a good thing. Keep me posted on what happens.  I will keep you in my prayers
