missed period

Hi everyone. I am 29 with 2 sons aged 9 and 6. My ex and I were ttc for three years and nothing happened. Come to find out when we had broken up I had chlamydia,  tricamonias, AND several different bacterial infections.  During our relationship he got a girl pregnant. Fast forward to my new partner. We got tested around october 2013. We are both clear. My last period was december 22nd. Last time we were intimate was January 1st with no protection but he did ejaculate in me. I had pms symptoms 2 weeks ago but no period. I have lower back pain but thats about. I also have hyperthyroidism. I was diagnosed at age 19 but ive had 2 kids since then.can somebody please help.

Hi there,
Your pregnancy test is negative so other causes of delayed periods like thyroid disorders, hormonal fluctuations, PID and ovulation dysfunction should be considered. You may need additional tests like ultrasound scan of pelvis, hormonal assay etc. Semen analysis of our husband may be helpful.  This is merely an advice and not a substitute for clinical examination .Consult your gynecologist for more queries and assistance.
