HELLO,


MY NAME IS CRYSTAL....IM 18 AND JUST FOUND OUT I HAVE MULLERIAN AGENESIS. IN MY CASE I DO HAVE A UTERUS BUT MY VIRGINA IS NOT CONNECTED TO IT. ALSO MY VIRGINA IS SHORT(NOT DEVELOPED) BY READING OTHER PEOPLE LOGS AND ARTICILES ONLINE I PRETTY MUCH KNOW I CANT HAVE KIDS NOW.......IM WAITING TO MEET WITH A SPEALIST NOW WONDERING WHAT MY TREATMENTS WILL BE. IM A VIRGIN AND WOULD LOVE TO SOMEDAY HAVE SEX...... BUT I KNOW IT WILL BE PAINFUL

MY QUESTIONS(TO ANY ONE WHO CAN HELP PLEASE)

1. IS SEX IMPOSSIBLE W/O THE SURGERY
2. HOWS THE SURGERY RECOVERY IF YOU HAD IT(BEING THE DAILATOR TAKES 7 MONTHS TO WORK)
3. WHERE YOU PLACED ON HORMONE PILLS
4.DOES THIS CODITION EFFECT YOUR LOVE LIFE (OTHER THAN SEX..IS IT HARD TO GET CLOSE TO YR LOVER)
5. OH DOES ANY ONE EXPERINCE PELVIC LIKE PAIN?????

Hello I am 19 years old and I was diagnosed with Mullerian Agenisis at the age of 17.
I was born without a uterus, I don't have periods, I do have ovaries, so therefore I can have a surrogate deliver my child, and I have a short vagina
My boyfriend is well aware of my condition. We have a normal sex life. Although, he has to go extremely slow to begin for a while till I don't feel pain anymore and till it feels good.
He has orgasms so obviously it doesn't affect his pleasure
Yet, I haven't been able to have an orgasm. I was wondering if I am unable due to my condition or it just hasn't happend yet?

hi i have mullerian agenesis, im 19, my ovaries work fine so i dont have to take hormone pills.

sex is different with everyone with or without MA, it could be painful or extremely good.

i dont get pelvic pain, but yoga really helps me with other physical pains i might have :)

it is hard to get close to a guy because i know he wants to have sex with me and i want to have sex with him but i cant.... but sometimes i let it get in the way too much because even though you wont be able to have vaginal sex yet, there's other sexual relations you can have with your significant other

hi i'm 34 years old with ovaries, no uterus ,a short vagina and no cervix  i have used dialators but i'm not sure it works i just have frequent sex to stay open its not painful if i go a week or longer i will tend to close and it becomes painful thats whyi believe grafted surgery or laparoscopic procedure would be best i would like to a have my sister be a surragate parent for me but with no health care insurance and lack of funds i feel i'm running out of time if their's any who would like to give  me information on a specialist i would appreciate it or you would like to talk more for open support my email is ***@****

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis, I cannot even imaging what all of this means.  I cannot really give much insight as I am not really familiar with the condition.  You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.  Always know we are hear for you.

I apologize for my ignorance as I am not familiar with your condition.  I have a problem with my cervix because I have a cyst in a very hard to get spot (per my RE) so that makes inserting catheters difficult but I have started going for mind and body classes which has taught me to control my breathing to take charge of my pain and it has worked.  Out of curiosity - do you not get your periods ?

THANKS FOR ANSWERING ALL MY QUESTIONS!!!!! IM HAPPY TO FIND THE DILATORS WORK FOR USE WITH TIME/!!!!! AND YEAH MY OVARIES DONT WORK AT ALL SO HORMONES PILLS WILL BE MY ANSWER I HOPE!!! AND YEAH I CAN TELL IT WOULD EFFECT OUR LOVE LIFE BECAUSE BOYS I HAVE WENT WITH ALAWYS WANTED TO HAVE SEX AND I COULDNT AWAYS TELL SEX WOULD HURT BEYOND WAT I COULD IMAGINE!!!! SO I DACK AWAY FROM THEM JUST BECUSE OF SEX!!!! AND YEAH I THINK MY LEFT SIDE PELVIC BONE HURTS SO BAD !!!! NOT WHEN I TOUCH IT THOUGH IT HURTS SO BAD....IM NOT SURE IF ITS MY OVARIES OR WHAT!!!!

1.  Sex is not impossible without surgery. it is very painful but eventually the dilators help with that.
3. no if your ovaries are still working they will not put you on pills.
4. the condition very much effects my love life because i always sit around thinking about how they feel when I cant have unpainful sex or they cant get it in cuz of my vagina length. not to mention I can't ever have their children.
5. Sometimes it hurts bad.
