post iui symptoms

Hi again, still trying to figure out how this works.  So I am post IUI day 6 and used hormone injections and a trigger shot.  My breasts are sore which is from the trigger shot but will it go away? How will I know if it's from the trigger or the real thing?

Good luck girl. Let me know how it goes. i hope this is the cycle for u. The tww seems to be the hardest part of it. although the shots and iui are not to much fun either. Your body has a way of tricking you into thinking u r prego. I think part of it is all of those shots and meds we pump into it. The other part is just we want it so bad our body tricks its self.  I didnt know they could detect anything this early in an US. What are they  looking for?

This month was a natural cycle for us. I am guessing that it is not pos but u never know. I will not test until i am late. We didnt do strips or temps. Plus i just had the surgery so i am not sure what kind of cycle i am on. I spotted after surgery then full flow the next day and then light spotting the next.  So last month i didnt have a normal cycle. I am having a lot of nausa thought. I m not counting that one because i have always had it on and offduring our trying. some of it was due to pregnancy and some due to endometreious.

Hi,
I wasn't successful last cycle.  Am trying again now.  Day 8 today and I go to have the first ultrasound this afternoon.  Fingers grossed.  I got a negative HPT at day 8 last cycle, which means the trigger was out of my system by then.

last cycle I had heaps of symptoms, but was not pregnant.  This TTC really plays tricks on our minds and bodies.  Anyway, hoping that this cycle will be THE ONE>

it means tha the trigger shot was out of your system. I have done one six days past trigger and it was out of my ystem.  that means if u get a + on day 12 or -14  u will know it is real. GL

Hi everyone, I have been so busy but had my second IUI done.  I am a bit concerned though and maybe you can give me some input.  I had my trigger shot on a Wed followed by IUIs on Thur/Fri.  Well, on Sun night I did a HPT just for the fun of it and it was negative.  From what I have read, it usually creates a false positive test.  What does this mean?

Those i am sorry it did not work. maybe your next cycle will be more sucessfull. R u using injectables with it or just clomid.

Thank you all for your support!  Went back today for my day 3 u/s and bldwk.  Waiting to find out the dosage so I can start the injections tonight.  mmoye, thanks for sharing the info on the changes in my cycle.  I agree with thosenewmans, shorter cycle=moving on to the next try faster!   Hope you're feelng better Super sally888!  Thanks again for your support girls!

The flu in the summer is aweful. i hope u r prego and not the flu. IF not dont give up hope. They think my last mc was because the endo was back.  please keep me updated. We can get through this together.

your experience same as mine.  Got pg 2 times out of 3 IUI but lost them both, then one time pregnant on my own and lost it too.

Now I'm DPO12 from my 5th IUI (4th didn't work).

Was having heaps of symptoms since DPO2, sore breasts, gas, etc. Today am just feeling like I have the flu, upset tummy, sore back, and cough and chills (so I think it's the real flu).  Tested yesterday was BFN.  Will test again on Friday.  My period should come on Saturday.  I kind of feel this cycle hasn't worked again. :(  Anyway, can only hope.

Sorry to hear that AF came. :( I'm not looking forward to the next 2 weeks...Since we haven't had any real luck on our own, I'm thinking a BFN for this cycle. In the end, who knows, but still. Thinking this way at least keeps me from stressing or getting too excited when AF ultimately shows up anyhow. It's a good thing that IUI changes your cycle too. Shorter...so you can move on to the next one :)

amw88: when u do iui it changes your number of days in cycle. you no long go from the 1st day of cycle. u go based off of your iui. 14 dpiui u should get either bfp or bfn or af.  all of the drugs alter your cycle for that month.  dont give up. Maybe your next iui will do it. I have had 3 iuis. got prego 2/3 of them. i lost both of those. I also go prego 1 other time on my own. i lost that one also.  We will be trying another one soon. I just had surgery for endo. so with my next cycle i am doing iui and praying it works. Good luck to u.

Hi ladies, yesterday was day 11 post IUI and I had some spotting.  Wasn't sure if it was implantation bleeding since it's my first time but this morning I got my period.  Going back to start the process again.  Anika, after my second insemination I was told to go back to get bloodwork done after two weeks which would have been 6/23.  I wasn't on any progesterone post IUI.  I was expecting my period on the 24th so I was going to wait to get the bloodwork done.  What's strange is that I got my period on day 24 which has never happened before.  Good luck to you all! Hey ladies! :) I am 1dpiui and I haven't had any real symptoms yet. The trigger shot didn't give me any symptoms but I did have some spotting/bleeding after the IUI.
I started Prometrium today and I've had some dull pinching on either side where my ovaries are. Could be anything...lol and I've had it before with BFN...so just have to wait until July3 when I can do hpt.

Hi! I'm 10 days post IUI also and I'm driving myself crazy! Everyday I feel something and think is that a sign I'm pregnant?! I went for my progesterone check on Saturday and it came back at 58. I know that isn't a sign of pregnancy but I hope it's a good sign!  My breasts and nipples are really tender too and I'm bloated and my stomach feels hard. I'm hopeful it's a sign of pregnancy! I'm crossing my fingers I don't start my period. I have my beta this Saturday. Good luck to everyone and crossing my fingers this month it's our lucky month!

Today I am 6dpiui. No symptoms. I have to go for blood test next Monday, June 27.
So you are waiting for period and not going for scheduled blood test? Are you taking Prometrium? anything else?

Hi!  So I am day 9 post IUI.  I did a HPT today to see if the hcg is out of my system and it is since the test came back neg.  Breasts still tender. Staying hopeful!

Hi ladies, I can't tell you how comforting it is to hear from you!  Anika, to answer your question I was told to come back to the office after two weeks for bloodwork which makes it the 23rd but my scheduled period is for a couple days after.  I think that I will try to hold out and wait to see if I get my period.  Will try a HPT to see if it's + due to the trigger.  No cramping or spotting of any sort so far.  Will keep you all up to date!

Hi! I had my #2 iui 2 days ago. I had some pain yesterday, on the left side ( I had just 2 follies only on left) but today it is ok. I do't have any symptoms after trigger shot. Try not to think about it. When you will have beta? We are iui buddies :-)

I'm hoping to do my IUI next week, but I've had the trigger before twice.  The effects of the trigger can stay in your body up to 2 weeks, even if you are testing negative on a pregnancy test.  The only real way to know (and drive yourself crazy) is to start testing now, wait for it to become negative to make sure the trigger is low enough to show a BFN, and then once your 2ww is up, test again!  Good luck and lots of baby dust!!!

...that's a tricky one..when I had both IUI and IVF I knew I was pregos because the symptoms from all the hormones did not go away and actually started getting worse and started having new ones...but everyone is different..tons of baby dust heading ur way!!!
