pregnancy after an HSG

I just had my HSG done last week (after 19 months of ttc). She said the tubes were clear. I was wondering if anyone here has had this done (I ovulate in the next 2 days so my fingers are crossed). I read somewhere that the chances of getting pregnant after an HSG increase significantly. Does anyone here know anything about this or even had this done and had a better success rate?

My fren tested after she missed her period and got continuous negatives .. and got the positive on 55 th day ... she had a laproscopy the previous month and conceived naturally ... She had the history of PCOS ...
Dont bother too much about the late period , or your body will start mimicking the symptoms ..
why dont u see a doctor and check coz its soo late ...

Hi, I had my HSG today and I'm happy to say my experience was very good, I felt a little pinch for like 2, seconds, some pressure but no pain. I was so happy after the procedure cause I didn't feel pain. I took ibuprofene the night before and 30 minutes before and after procedure. I hope get my BFP soon. Well I will keep everyone in my prayers and good luck everyone. Baby dust to all.

you will be fine with the HSG  test.  Remember to talk about something that you did the day before, or i would suggest go out to eat to your favorite resturant, and  while your procedure is going on, i would tell the Doc where and what u had and it will be over in minutes!!!!!!!!!  good luck hun and keep us all posted we are here for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey question ?  Did your friend take a pregnancy test between day 1 of her last period and the day she got her BFP? and also did she have the hsg test procedure done? just looking for a litte hope, trying to compare situations.lol    I would love to see my AF!!!! DOG GONNITT>>>> at least I would know that im about to ovulate or will be ovulating.  I wonder is it possible to Ovulate and dont get your AF?   wierd, how my breast was sore and my stomache was cramping like something was going on and nothing. I wonder does it even count to have sex at this point without seeing AF?  I have a lot of question, im just rambling PLEASE DONT PAY ME ANY ATTENTION.   I WANT TO BE A MOTHER SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BADDD

Hi mckenziava ... One of my fren got her BFP only after 55 days ..( counting one day 1 of previous AF start ) ... she now is the mother of a very lovely girl baby ...
I can understand ur situation , I ve goen throu it many times ... once it went to 43 days giving me and my family lot of hope ... I was almost shattered when Af showed up ...
Be relaxed dear ... god is just making us wait because he wants to guve us the best ...
