PCOS?

Can someone please explain this to me what exatally is it.  I've been hearing about it and I'm going to Dr. Monday and don't know what the result will be but any posts would be appreciated.

I was just diagnosed with PCOS and I had every symptom on the list.  However instead of metformin my dr. chose to put me on clomid this month.  I'm still waiting to see if it worked.

Hi. I've been diagnosed over 5-6 years ago. My dermatologist figured it out if you can believe that one!!! This after years of seeing a fertility specialist. Anyway it's when your eggs don't burst and release into the fallopian tubes , they turn into cysts, therefore not being able to be fertilized. I had bad acne , overweight, thick hair. Sometimes women will have thicker facial hair and hair around their navel. It's a result of an insulin problem (most RE's will put you on Metformin) and testosterone.  Hope this helps...

No problem we women know if somethings wrong.....heck I have 11/14 symtoms so I'm definatly going to have my Dr. check....

OMG I think I've got that I have almost all the sypmtoms except 2....I'm  definatly bringing it up Monday.

Thanks I'm hoping it's something easy to fix and better yet I hope they find a BFP in hiding.  Thanks again I'll check out the site now.
