metformin
Is metfomin only for people who are usualy overweight and have pcos im asking as my gp as never mentioned me useing it as only tried clomid which did nothing alot of of you say it makes uyou ovulate regularly which is what i want but i am underweight if anything and will try anything .
I've been diagnosed with PCOS and have been on Metformin for a month now and just had my first period in five months, so it definitely works. No weight loss though. Had a bit of a reaction when I first started it, but once my body settled into it, it was fine. DH and I have been trying since Feb this year with no luck, when period disappeared, we first thought it was successful and we were preggers, but of course neg HPT, then went to docs, after many many tests, finally was diagnosed with PCOS, then was given Metformin, and finally I am having my first period in five months! Fingers crossed it continues to work, and we will finally get our pos HPT! Hang in there. SSBD xx
