update from my hemo appt today

where do i begin...well i had more bloodwork drawn and ill be going in for an u/s sometime because i might have a blood clot in my leg....i go back in 4 weeks to talk to the doc about my results and finalize a plan of action...he is calling my OB and requesting that i be transferred to a high risk OB who specializes in high risk pregnacies

ill be on lovenox when im pregnant again...as soon as i get a BFP i have to call the office and get the rx for it that day and start taking it

he said as i get older it might be in my best intrest to get a hysterectomy but since i want to have more kids right now he's going to try and help me do that

i have been diagnosed with factor 5 leiden heterozygous compounded defect...its a bit worse than regular factor 5....but doable

he's guessing about 2-3 months before i can TTC again but he has to find a new doc (high risk OB) for me and i have to get in to see them and make sure nothing else is going on

so for now...im going to try and get into shape and get my blood flowing....no daily meds unless they do find a blood clot and after they find my first blood clot not preg then ill begin meds...he doesnt want me on daily meds for the fact that i want TTC soon and once i stop the daily meds theres a waitnig period because of the risk of birth defects

I'm so glad you got the ball rolling on this, waitn! A little scary about the possible blood clot, though...but I guess it makes sense to wait a couple of months then...to get things checked out first, and of course to find a high-risk OB. I wish you all the best, and hopefully you'll get the 'all clear' soon, so you can start TTC again!

Take care, waitn!

I hope they can yo find a new OB soon.  For the meantime.  Keep yourself occupied so you will forget and reduce the stress.  think of it as a school break! :) No stress, care free, go out with your girlfriends,  find something for you to look forward to so you don't get to think about all these.  I am sure you will get over this and will get your real bfp sooner than you think.  My friend is not supposed to have kids because of medical problems both sides but now she has two.  will you look at that .. miracles do happen... baby dust to you! hugs :)
